Trump’s Latest Appearance Ignites Wild Speculation Over Mysterious Bulge Under His Suit

Trump has had three separate “jacket” controversies this year, all involving the same unexplained bulge.

The latest one hit Monday, at a White House “back to school” event, where Trump stood beside Education Secretary Linda McMahon to promote school choice, pointing to the Big Beautiful Bill’s new federal tax credit for scholarship donations and criticizing what he called “radical-left betrayals” in public education.

The policy content barely made it past the images. Photos from the event showed Trump’s suit jacket bulging around something with a rigid, boxy outline visible beneath the fabric.

The reaction followed a script that’s become familiar. A similar clip in mid-August prompted journalist Aaron Rupar to ask the obvious question. “Seriously, what is going on with Trump’s rear end here? It looks like he has some sort of contraption back there,” he wrote.

George Conway responded with a one-line reaction on X. “It depends,” he wrote, a line that works both as a shrug and as a wink toward the actual diaper brand of the same name.

Martina Navratilova didn’t bother with the wordplay and just said what she thought she saw: “That’s a big diaper, I think:)”

Other replies got sharper


Monday wasn’t even this theory’s first appearance this year.

Nearly identical footage went viral back in May. The whole cycle actually traces back to April, when Trump appeared at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and a similar shape was spotted while he sat across from host Norah O’Donnell.

Days after that, then-press secretary Karoline Leavitt posted her own photo of Trump mid-interview with Atlanta News First, meant as a routine update on his Trump Accounts and Save America Act messaging, but the camera angle fed the exact same rumor anyway.
