President Donald Trump has long been known for his not-so-healthy eating habits, and he made an admission this week that fits that trend.

Visiting a pretzel maker this week called Martin’s Handmade Pretzels, according to The Daily Beast, a company representative told him, “I heard you like pretzels.”

“I love them, are you kidding me? Are they salty?,” Trump asked.

“They’re very salty,” the representative said.

“I love salt,” Trump said. “I probably shouldn’t have salt, but I like it.”
Trump later rambled about his love of salt.

Some social media users had some things to say about Trump’s love of salt.

“Trump’s puffy ankles are a common symptom of chronic venous insufficiency, which the president was diagnosed with last year. In January, Trump told The Wall Street Journal that he briefly wore compression socks to help treat the swelling, but he quit doing so because he ‘didn’t like them,’ The Daily Beast reported.
