Donald Trump’s ongoing feud with FL’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis just hit a fever pitch that pretty much ensured that the relationship between the two GOP figures will never be repaired.
Trump has infamously grown furious with DeSantis in recent months, over reports that the FL governor is not only eyeing a potential 2024 presidential run against the scandal-ridden former guy, but has been centered among the Conservative crowd as their new favorite pick, amid Trump’s ever-mounting scandals, investigations, and legal peril.
Frankly, there’s simply no denying that DeSantis has shaped up to be a brutal potential adversary for the corrupt former president, and opposition or challenges from individuals who he expects to fall in line beneath him are not something that Donald Trump takes well to.
As a result of this growing tension, the ex-president has grown more and more desperate in his attempts to bring DeSantis down a peg. And while Ron is certainly just as foul and vile as Donald Trump from a political policy standpoint, if not more so, it’s clear that the FL governor is lapping circles around number 45 when it comes to common sense, a public air of maturity, and a heaping handful of cunning manipulation.

Long story short, Ron has seemingly kicked back and given Trump all the space he needs to make himself look like a giant ass, without DeSantis having to really lift a finger.
And believe me, Trump is doing a damn good job of just that.
It seems the former president has caught onto the fact that his petty attempts at thinly-veiled jabs against the GOP governor of the state where he literally lives now just aren’t having the desired effect he was going for. So, he’s stooped to the lowest level of political games.
Yesterday, the former president, who’s positively riddled with his own similar scandals, took to his struggling Truth Social platform with an infamous photo of a young Ron DeSantis that accused the Florida governor of drinking alcohol and partying with underage girls during his time working as a high school teacher.
Trump even went so far as to refer to DeSantis as a “groomer,” the end-all, be-all insult among the Right-wing these days.
The photo in question had been meme’d, with a caption on the image reading, “Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher,” complete with the vomit emoji. Trump added his own caption to the post, sarcastically writing, “That’s not Ron, is it? He would never do such a thing!”
Business Insider writes, ” The picture shows a 23-year-old DeSantis smiling between three women with blurred out faces, whose ages aren’t clear. One of the females in the photos is holding a brown glass bottle but DeSantis isn’t pictured drinking.”
The infamous DeSantis photo hails from the Democratic super PAC blog Hill Reporter and was further covered by the New York Times in November, reporting that the photograph was taken after the 2001 to 2002 academic year, when DeSantis worked as a high school teacher at the elite Darlington School before attending Harvard Law School.
The Times cited multiple anonymous sources who said that DeSantis was known to regularly attend parties with seniors from the school, with two former students alleging that Ron attended at least two parties where alcohol was served. The sources said they weren’t bothered by Ron’s behavior at the time, but now find it questionable when looking back on it.
It certainly seems that Donald Trump has officially thrown down the gauntlet.
