UNCONFIRMED Reports Reveal Trump Has Been Taken To Walter Reed As Roads Shut Down And No Public Appearances Today

This is unconfirmed. But the speculation isn’t baseless.

Saturday morning, the White House announced Trump would not make any public appearances for the rest of the day. No reason was given. For a president who rarely misses a weekend at Mar-a-Lago, that was unusual enough to set off alarm bells.

Within minutes of that 11:08 a.m. announcement, X was flooded with reports of road closures near Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. None have been independently confirmed by credible outlets.

The White House pushed back. Trump’s spokesman Steven Cheung posted on X: “There has never been a President who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump. On this Easter weekend, he has been working nonstop in the White House and Oval Office. God Bless him.”

No hospital visit has been confirmed as of publication.

The speculation, though, does not exist in a vacuum. Trump’s health has been a recurring concern throughout his second term. Bruised hands covered with mismatched concealer. Swollen ankles at official events. Slurred words during the April 1 primetime address. Difficulty reading from a teleprompter while managing an active war. The White House has called him the sharpest most energetic president in history every single time.

His last confirmed Walter Reed trip was October 2025. The White House called it a semiannual physical despite him having had an annual physical six months earlier in April. His physician said the president “continues to demonstrate excellent overall health.”

A September 2025 YouGov survey found nearly two-thirds of Americans believe Trump’s health and age are affecting his ability to govern.
