Last week, Donald Trump complained about one ABC News employee, his former friend Chris Christie, and even threatened to open a criminal investigation into Christie’s years-old Bridgegate scandal, a scandal that was much investigated in its own time.

Now, Trump has taken another shot at ABC’s This Week.

On Truth Social, Trump took a series of shots at This Week, including panelist and longtime Democratic operative Donna Brazile.

“Why does Fake News ABC’S This Week With George Slopadopolus have Low IQ “commentator” Donna Brazile on the show? Wasn’t she totally discredited when she gave Crooked Hillary Clinton the questions to a Debate???,” Trump said in the post. “Wasn’t she FIRED by Fake News CNN for so doing??? Why would ABC “News” hire such a dumb retread? Check out her disastrous interview with Megyn Kelly from years ago – A total Classic!!! Donna is dumb as a rock, and a liar besides. She, and Sloppy Chris Christie, should be fired from a highly discredited ABC Fake News. They just paid me $16,000,000 for “inaccurate” reporting, now they should pay me more!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT”

Brazile severed ties with CNN in 2016, after she was found to have shared debate questions with Hillary Clinton’s campaign, although by that time she had stepped away from CNN to serve as interim chair of the DNC. Earlier than that, Brazile had run Al Gore’s presidential campaign in 2000.

Per HuffPost, Trump and ABC News indeed settled, over a segment in which anchor George Stephanopolous had stated Trump was adjudicated as guilty of rape; in the E. Jean Carroll civil case, he was found to have committed sexual abuse, but not rape. However, the real settlement was $15 million, not $16 million as the president stated in the social media post.

Following a couple of days of what turned out to be false death rumors, the post was part of a busy weekend for the president, which also included both golfing and numerous social media posts, culimating in the announcement that Rudy Giuliani, fresh off a bizarre car accident in New Hampshire, would receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Also, the president called on drug companies to “justify the success of their various Covid Drugs.”
