Trump’s “major comeback” rolled into Pennsylvania with big promises, but the Mount Pocono rally told a very different story. The event felt underwhelming from the start.
The campaign had envisioned a huge crowd and nonstop chants from the swing-state base. It never happened.
A video circulating online captures the rally inside a small casino conference room. Roughly 200 people were present. The room offered sparse applause while Trump spoke for almost an hour.
I have more people at a family reunion than this.

The crowd looked thin and quiet. Many claimed a lot of people were only there because they were paid or given free tickets.
The word is that Trump’s rally in Pocono, Pennsylvania was a miserable flop with only around 200 people attending last night. 😂🤣 pic.twitter.com/HD7N4d7m7F

He wants us to downsize our purchases. He certainly is setting an example by downsizing his audience! 🤣🤣🤣

I love they had to cut the space down with giant curtains to “fluff” the size of the crowd.
They couldn’t even fill a hotel ballroom.

And he probably had to pay half of them to be there. 🤣😂

Trump walked onstage and said he was ready to make America “affordable again.” He also said helping families was his “top priority.” But only a few minutes later, he blamed all rising prices on Joe Biden, even though his own tariffs have pushed many costs up.
Then Trump shifted to advice for struggling families. He said Americans should “adjust to a lower standard of living.” After that, he gave a blunt fix for higher prices. “You can give up certain products,” he said. “You can give up pencils… You don’t need 37 dolls for your daughter. Two or three is nice.”
Data tells a different story. A new POLITICO poll shows that half of Americans are struggling to afford food. Even worse for Trump, 55% blame his administration for the rising cost of living.
