Is Musk losing control?

Recently, Elon Musk was spotted at Bedminster acting strangely with his silverware in a video posted by Molly Ploofkins (@Mollyploofkins) on X. People think he looks high on ketamine, and the reactions are wild.

The clip went viral, and people were making fun of him.

But why are people saying Elon Musk is high on ketamine?

Well, he admitted it himself! In March 2024, Musk told former CNN reporter Don Lemon that he uses ketamine to treat depression. “There are times when I have sort of, I don’t know, like a negative chemical state in my […] brain. Like depression, I guess, you know — or like depression that’s not linked to any negative news. And then ketamine is helpful for getting you — getting one outside, out of a negative frame of mind.”

Musk also said he has a prescription for it. According to him, ketamine helps him feel better when he’s sad for no real reason. He even suggested that people struggling with depression should ask their doctors about ketamine instead of using regular antidepressants, which he called “zombifying.” He even said, “If someone has depression issues, they should consider talking to their doctor about ketamine instead of SSRIs.”

But not everyone believes Musk is handling ketamine safely. Reports from the Wall Street Journal and The New Yorker claim Musk’s ketamine use is not just once in a while. It’s apparently a regular thing. They say some people are worried it’s messing with his health and making him act strange or make bad decisions. They even think it’s making him more wild and impulsive in his business choices.

The video of Musk playing with his silverware just made everything worse. People online were quick to point out how strange he looked, with some making jokes and others showing real concern.

Some even joked about Musk’s Neuralink project, which aims to develop brain-machine interfaces. The Empress (@Shanghai_Rose) commented, “Neurolinks malfunctioning?”

Others were really concerned, like C_R_Taylor (@cindi_lulu47), who asked, “I thought you get arrested for drug possession?” and LeftTheUS (@ibeam23), who pointed out, “Anyone with White House access should be drug tested. If not, those in jail for drug possession should be freed.”

Surprisingly, Musk keeps saying he’s passed all his drug tests, and his lawyer, Alex Spiro, claimed he’s “never failed one.” However, not everyone is convinced. Reports suggest Musk still uses ketamine, and some people around him are worried it could lead to health issues or impact his business. As one report said, “Associates suggested that Musk’s use has escalated in recent years.”
