President Donald Trump appears to fear falling down the stairs of Air Force One.

On Wednesday, during his trip to Asia, Trump appeared to be holding on to the railing “for dear life,” as he walked down the stairs, the Daily Beast reported.

“Trump gripped the railing of Air Force One as he took special care to walk down the steps after landing in Busan, South Korea, on Wednesday,” the Beast said. “The president is in South Korea for APEC meetings, as part of a global jaunt that has included visits to Malaysia and Japan.”

Trump, per the Beast, has expressed concerns about falling down the stairs.

“I’m very careful. You know, when I walk downstairs—like I’m on stairs like these stairs—I walk very slowly,“ Trump confessed during his speech to military leaders in Virginia earlier this month.

“Nobody has to set a record. Just try not to fall because it doesn’t work out well… Just walk nice and easy. You don’t have to set any record.”

President Biden, infamously, had occasional trouble on the stairs. But then again, many presidents have, including Gerald Ford, whose pratfalls were famously mocked by Chevy Chase in the early days of Saturday Night Live in the 1970s.

Some social media users mocked Trump for hanging on to the stairs:

And that also happened in 2020:
