New video footage this week shows a rather haunting response from House Democrats after the corrupt Republican party sank to one of their lowest lows and voted to censure California House Rep. Adam Schiff, for no other reason than the fact that Schiff dared to play a role in investigating the GOP’s Dear Leader Donald Trump and his blatant ties to Russia.
Schiff, only the 25th member of the US House of Representatives to be formally censured in the history of the United States, held his head high in front of the House as they completed the in-party-line vote (213-209) to censure him — a form of “punishment” in Congress that is obviously less severe than removal, but serves as a formal statement of disapproval from the entity censuring them, whether that be the US Senate or House of Representatives.
Schiff took his censure in stride, and some would say even striking defiant, as he dubbed the punishment a “badge of honor.”
The support for the California House Rep. was palpable among his Democratic colleagues as they shouted “Shame, shame, shame,” as Schiff made his way to the House well where he met his formal censure procedure.

The Democratic response throughout the House appeared to irritate newly-appointed GOP Speaker Kevin McCarthy who, at one point, shot out into the chambers, “I have all night.”

The censure resolution against Schiff asserts that during the Trump presidency, the Democratic House Rep. “abused this trust by saying there was evidence of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.”
“Representative Schiff purposely deceived his Committee, Congress, and the American people,” the resolution further stated.
Earlier the same day, ahead of the official censure in the House, Rep. Schiff made an appearance on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House with Nicole Wallace, where he made it clear that, in censuring him for his investigation into Donald Trump, Republicans were leaving no shadow of a doubt that they were doing the ex-president’s bidding from their positions in Congress.
“I think they go after people that they feel are a threat or are effective in holding them accountable, or holding Donald Trump accountable, and I don’t think this is going to be the last attack on me because they are going to continue to serve this disgraced former president,” the House Rep. said in his MSNBC appearance.
“They have essentially decided that they’re going to be fully subservient to his wishes, and Trump put out the word that if any of them, like last week when almost one out of 10 Republicans voted against the bogus resolution, that if anyone does that again, he wants them primary challenged.”

Taking the Republican-led tone-deafness to a new extreme, Colorado Republican House Rep. Lauren Boebert — who’s currently embroiled in her own ocean of scandal these days — took it upon herself to post on her Twitter account, comparing the Democrats’ show of support for their colleague to the deadly January 6th Capitol insurrection.
Is this an insurrection? https://t.co/rFVn4fxJHv
