Things got a little awkward for former Trump-era Vice President and recently announced 2024 Republican presidential candidate Mike Pence when he found himself confronted and basically heckled right to his face by a gaggle of pissed off Trump supporters in a parking lot, of all places.
Pence found himself going face-to-face with a rowdy bunch of his ex-boss’ supporters in the parking lot of his recent event in New Hampshire.
Tensions are, of course, high after former President Donald Trump was formally arraigned on his fourth bombshell, historical criminal indictment earlier this week — the third to come down on his head by Garland-appointed DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith.
The arraignment was just Trump’s most recent appearance before a court of law, this time on a variety of criminal charges lodged against him by Special Counsel Smith, on behalf of the US Depart of Justice, from his alleged crimes related to his efforts to overthrow the 2020 United States presidential election, including the infamous, deadly January 6th Capitol attack.
This was Donald Trump’s third formal, criminal arraignment.

In addition to Jack Smith’s indictment on 2020 election charges, the Special Counsel has also lodged two other indictments against Donald Trump relating to the infamous stolen government document scandal. Earlier this year, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg made US history with the first-ever criminal indictment to be handed down against a former or sitting United States president and Fulton County DA Fani Willis is reportedly weighing an additional indictment against Donald Trump for his alleged election crimes in the state of Georgia.
It seems this recent influx of legal woes for the guy he used to work under has lit a fire under Mike Pence’s ass, so to speak, as the former VP who used to seriously shy away from actually bad-mouthing the corrupt former president has now appeared to throw off the gloves and start swinging, no holds barred, especially with regard to Trump’s efforts to pressure Pence to do his bidding to overthrow the 2020 presidential election results — the same thing that earned Pence calls to be hanged by Donald’s rapid, violent mob at the Capitol building on January 6th.
From Pence’s point of view on the matter, he protected the United States Constitution by refusing to meet his boss’ demands on that fateful day, and it recent days, has been saying as much in public — much to the dismay of the MAGA crowd.
It seems when a handful of those MAGAs happened to catch sight of Pence in that parking lot this week, they thought it was the perfect opportunity to let the controversial former vice president know exactly what they thought about it all.
ABC News campaign reporter Kelsey Walsh posted a video of the unsettling verbal confrontation between Pence and a group of his old boss’ supporters in the parking lot outside his town hall event in Londonderry, New Hampshire, yesterday evening as the former VP attempted to greet, shake hands, and take photos with some of his own supporters before the event.
Wash reported:
A dozen Trump supporters approached Mike Pence’s vehicle as he entered his Friday event yelling, ‘that’s a traitor,’ ‘you’re a sellout,’ and ‘why didn’t you uphold the constitution?’
‘I upheld the constitution,’ Pence shouted back.
As they badgered him he yelled, ‘Read it!’

Despite the awkward parking lot showdown, Pence went on to have what seemed to be a quiet, intimate townhall event:
