After spending the weekend in New York and New Jersey, including attending the World Cup Final, President Donald Trump boarded Air Force One to return to Washington and could be seen struggling on the stairs.
According to The Daily Beast, the 80-year-old president “has once again visibly struggled while exiting Air Force One.”
“Footage of Trump descending the Air Force One stairs has highlighted the challenges he has in safely making his way down the stairs,” the Beast reported of Trump’s struggles on the stairs. “After lurching out of the plane, Trump clutched the guard rail, tapping it several times before switching to grasp the lower rail as he made his way down the stairs. He is then seen lurching again as he walked to Marine One to make his way to the White House, at times seeming to struggle to walk in a direct line.”

Trump, of course, spent his years out of office regularly mocking Joe Biden for his age and infirmity, including his similar struggles on the Air Force One stairs.
The White House did not respond to requests for comment from the Daily Beast, although on more than one occasion in the past, Communications Director Steven Cheung has said on the record that “You must be f—ing blind or stupid, because that was a perfect walk.”
Speaking of Air Force One, Trump said this week that the new version of the jet, a gift from Qatar, would be taken out of service in order to be “maxed out.”
“Well, it has — it has a lot, and you know it has a lot of capability, but as I understand it, in about a month or so, they’re going to send it to have it be maxed out. So they’re going to be sending it, and they’ll have it be maxed out,” Trump said, upon landing in Washington, when a reporter asked him about the jet’s lack of missile defense systems, the New York Times reported.
