At his first public appearance after going out of view over Easter weekend, Trump turned to introduce his wife, and had to look around to find her. She was standing right next to him.

The scene played out at the White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn.

Before that, there was the silence.

Trump had not been seen since Wednesday night’s Iran war address. On Saturday morning, the White House called a press lid at 11:08 a.m. and cleared his schedule. No explanation.

Rumors moved fast. Claims that he had been rushed to Walter Reed spread online. Nothing confirmed. The White House pushed back, pointing to a Marine sentry outside the West Wing as proof the president was inside and working.

Sunday, he resurfaced, skipping church and taking a slow motorcade loop past a bridge he reportedly wants named after himself before stopping at his golf course in Virginia.

By Monday morning, he was back in public.

The Easter Egg Roll began around 11 a.m. Trump stood beside Melania and the Easter Bunny, speaking about the Iran war and egg prices. “Eggs is a big thing, and it was a big thing to our great first lady, who is here someplace. Let’s see.”

He turned and looked around.

Melania was right there.

“I think this is our first lady. What do you think of our first lady? She’s a movie star.”

Melania appeared briefly confused, then smiled, waved, and took the microphone. She wished everyone a happy Easter Monday and kept it short.

Forgetting Melania had everyone on X calling for the 25th Amendment.

A day earlier, MS NOW senior medical analyst Dr. Vin Gupta posted on X: “Erratic. Can’t finish sentences. Often confused. Illogical train of thought. Word finding difficulties. Developing and worsening gradually over time.”

“The President is exhibiting all the signs of dementia.”

The White House has dismissed such concerns. Trump’s physician has described him as being in excellent health each time he has been asked.

Trump later held a press conference with military officials, focusing on the rescue of two F-15 crew members from deep inside Iran.

Around him, the Easter Egg Roll continued.

More than 40,000 eggs were spread across the South Lawn as part of a patriotic theme marking America’s 250th anniversary. Sponsors included NASA, Meta, Google, YouTube, and Coca-Cola.

Melania took part in the Reading Nook alongside Usha Vance, Karoline Leavitt, and Jennifer Hegseth. She was also presented with the First Lady’s commemorative egg, designed using the traditional Pysanky technique.
