Weather Forecast Reveals Possible Thunderstorms For Trump’s Military Parade On Saturday

Not even the weather agrees

This Saturday, two significant events are scheduled to take place in the United States. One is a military parade in Washington, DC, to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States Army. It is also President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday. The other event is a large church gathering in Chicago to honor Pope Leo the Fourteenth.

But while both events are significant to many people, the weather may treat them very differently.

The National Weather Service reports a 70% chance of thunderstorms in Washington, D.C., on Saturday afternoon and evening. This means there is a very high chance of rain and possibly strong storms during the parade.

Chris Strong, a weather expert from the National Weather Service, said the storms could bring very heavy rain. He warned that any thunderstorm in the area on Saturday could cause problems.

This is bad news for the military parade in DC. The event will include tanks, army vehicles, thousands of soldiers, and even flyovers from military planes. There will also be parachute demonstrations. These parts of the event may be delayed or canceled if the weather conditions are too hazardous.

Wet roads can also cause problems for large army trucks and tanks. Thunder and lightning may also make it unsafe for the crowd and the soldiers participating in the event.

Trump does not appear to be too concerned about the weather. At a picnic on Thursday, he said that if it rains, it brings good luck. He added that it would not affect the tanks or the soldiers, as they are accustomed to adverse weather conditions. But some people feel that this is not about luck. It’s about safety and making informed choices.

In contrast, the celebration in Chicago is expected to have very nice weather. There is only a 6% chance of rain on Saturday. The event will take place at Guaranteed Rate Field, the baseball stadium of the Chicago White Sox.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the Mass, which Cardinal Blase Cupich will lead. Pope Leo XIV will not participate in person, but he will deliver a video message to the crowd.

The Archdiocese of Chicago announced that the event will feature prayer, music, and a message of hope for young people. The gates will open at 12:30 p.m., and the Mass will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Because the weather looks calm and sunny, there should be no delays in Chicago. The city is ready, and the crowd will likely enjoy a peaceful and spiritual day without worrying about storms.

Meanwhile, back in Washington, the weather could cause big problems. Even the airport will shut down for several hours because of the parade. This will impact over 100 flights and affect many travelers.

There are also plans for protests in DC during the event. With the storm threat and the demonstrations together, there is a chance the day could turn very chaotic.
