Last weekend, washed-up, scandal-ridden, has-been former guy Donald Trump held his first two major campaign events in relation to his 2024 presidential run for re-election — following an extremely lackluster and frankly rather humiliating start to his 2024 campaign launch late last year that saw less than resounding support among his own base and political party.
But according to recent reporting from Queerty, there was one person, in particular, who was noticeably absent from not one, but both of those major, campaign kickstarting events — Donald Trump’s own wife, Melania.
On Friday of last week, the scandal-ridden former president held his first official 2024 campaign rally in South Carolina, followed by yet another MAGA 2024 rally in New Hampshire the very next day on Saturday. Yet, Donald’s third and current wife was nowhere to be found at either of those highly pivotal events.
As the tabloid so perfectly points out, “No explanation was given for her absence, so we can only assume the obvious: She didn’t want to f*cking be there.”

Frankly, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Now, Melania seemed to try her best to show her support for her husband (or at least earn her allowance for that week) in the direct aftermath of his 2024 campaign launch, releasing a statement on the heels of Donald’s announcement to Breitbart News:
I support my husband’s decision to run for president of this wonderful Nation. His achievements during his administration had a great effect on all of us, and he can lead us toward success and prosperity again. I await the day when my husband returns to lead an America that is characterized by peace, love, and security.”
But in the days and weeks since then, it seems that the ex-First Lady’s actions have not lined up with her words. Because it frankly seems like she couldn’t give a damn less about any of this mess if she tried to. Melania has been markedly MIA from almost all of her husband’s public events, rarely being seen with the big guy at all, and when she does, she frankly doesn’t look all that thrilled to be there.
We can’t help but wonder if this is a pretty strong signal that Melania is just fed up with the whole thing and, if we’re being honest, it has certainly seemed that way for quite some time now.
In fact, Melania’s mood and demeanor, coupled with reports from the time, became a running joke of sorts across social media in the direct aftermath of her husband’s 2020 presidential election loss, and subsequent eviction from the White House. So much so, that we were graced with some peak, top-shelf humor from the whole ordeal:
