White House Appears To Accidentally Upload Damning Trump Speech Before Making It Private

King talk gone public

Trump’s Easter lunch was supposed to stay behind closed doors, but the White House accidentally uploaded the entire event to YouTube, and by the time they deleted it, Business Insider reporter Bryan Metzger had already downloaded every minute and shared it publicly on X.

What was in it was not great for the administration.

Trump told the room the federal government could no longer afford daycare, Medicaid or Medicare because of the war.

“We’re fighting wars. We can’t take care of daycare. You got to let a state take care of daycare, and they should pay for it too. They should pay. They’ll have to raise their taxes, but they should pay for it. And we could lower our taxes a little bit to them to make up. It’s not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things. They can do it on a state basis. You can’t do it on a federal. We have to take care of one thing: military protection.”

That is the president of the United States telling a room full of handpicked Christian leaders that the war he started has left no money for healthcare.

He then turned to the subject of being a king. “I can’t get a ballroom approved. It’s pretty amazing, right? If I was a king, we’d be doing a lot more. I’m doing a lot, but I could be doing a lot more if I was a king.”

He also floated taking Iran’s oil, framing the American public’s reluctance as a personal disappointment.

“We could just take their oil. But, you know, I’m not sure that the people in our country have the patience to do that, which is unfortunate. You know, they want to see it end. If we stayed there, I, you know, I’d prefer just to take the oil. We could do it so easily. I would prefer that, but people in the country sort of say, ‘Just win, you’re winning so big. Just win, come home.'”

The war cost $11.3 billion in its first 6 days alone. By mid-March that figure had climbed to $18 billion. Republicans on Capitol Hill are now considering cutting federal health spending to fund the Pentagon’s requested additional $200 billion for the conflict.

The video also captured Trump mocking French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, impersonating British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and taking shots at his own Supreme Court appointees.

Macron responded publicly on Thursday, calling Trump’s comments about his wife “neither elegant nor up to par.” At one point Trump told the room he was about to address the nation that evening. “Tonight I’m making a little speech at 9 o’clock and basically I’m gonna tell everybody how great I am.”
