Newly released records and transcripts of testimony given to investigators by a now-former White House valet for Donald Trump have exposed new details concerning the now-former president’s handling of classified documents, as well as a particularly unsettling apparent threat made by Trump his then-VP Mike Pence on January 6th, overheard by the witness.
These bombshell new revelations hail from transcriptions of an interview conducted by the January 6th House Select Committee with a White House staffer who was physically close to then-President Donald Trump on the fateful day that his supporters stormed and attacked the US Capitol building in his name, and offer a unique new perspective of what really went down inside the Trump Administration.
The transcript was publicly released by Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk.
While the majority of the newly released transcript is heavily redacted, it does show members of the House Committee questioning Donald Trump’s now-former White House valet about a phone call Trump made to his then-Vice President Mike Pence at 11:20 a.m. on January 6th.

“What do you remember?” the interview asks the valet. Portions of the witness’ response are redacted, but the transcript does show the valet quoting Donald Trump saying, “Mike, this is a political career killer if you do this. Do what’s right.”
“Do you know what the President was referring to? Did he explain that to the Vice President in that call?”
“That’s all I heard,” the valet replies.
Additional questions and responses are redacted throughout the transcript, but the former Trump WH valet does testify that he never personally heard Donald refer to Pence as a “p—y” or a “wimp,” as has been reported by the New York Times.
However, the now-former valet did recall Trump appearing to be disturbed and unsettled by the call with his right-hand man.
“I could just tell that at that point, he was frustrated,” the valet testified. “It probably wasn’t a good call. He was frustrated, disappointed, you know, I could tell.”
In addition to the new details about the call between Trump and Pence, the former WH valet further testified to Donald’s bizarre handling and disposing of classified documents.
“Generally speaking, do you remember the President ever tearing up or destroying documents that he had seen?” an interviewer asks.
“That’s typically what he would do once he’s finished with a document,” the witness answers. “That was his sign of, like, he was done reading it.”
“He likes to look at pictures, and he would just tear it once he’s done looking at it and just throw it on the floor.”
