On one side stood Donald Trump, crowning Carrie Prejean as Miss California USA in 2009. Seventeen years later, she had a title for him too: cult leader.
Boller told Piers Morgan Uncensored she’s done pretending the MAGA movement operates any differently than the word she used to describe it.
“For far too long, I think we’ve been told — us MAGA conservatives — that we’ve been in a cult. And I sort of feel like I am leaving this cult, because as soon as you think for yourself and have common sense and question the narrative, you’re ostracized,” she said.
The follow-up went further. “As soon as you go against the cult leader — which I think Trump is the cult leader — then you all of a sudden are ostracized from the party.”

There’s a specific reason she’s saying this now, not two years ago.
Boller was removed from Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission last month by chairman Dan Patrick, after a contentious hearing in which she was accused of trying to “hijack” a discussion on antisemitism and defended commentator Candace Owens against accusations of antisemitic rhetoric.
She pointed to a growing list of other former Trump allies who’ve faced similar treatment for stepping out of line. “Look at Tucker Carlson. Look at Thomas Massie. Look at Marjorie Taylor Greene. Look at Candace Owens,” she said.
She’d already tested this exact argument on the same show once before.
Back in March, appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored for the first time on this subject, she declared the movement finished entirely. “I’m telling you right now, MAGA is dead, and we will not vote for one more politician who lies to us and says, ‘Oh we’re gonna drain the swamp and we’re gonna not get involved in foreign wars,'” she said then. “Trump has betrayed our country and he has betrayed MAGA, and people are livid.”
She went further still, telling Morgan she believes Israel’s influence over the administration’s Iran policy amounts to occupation. “I think that we are an occupied nation. I think that a foreign country has occupied our government, and we are seeing now that this president of the United States of America is being influenced by a foreign government,” she said, adding pointedly of Netanyahu’s frequent White House visits: “He’s been here almost eight times. This is embarrassing.”
“I do not recognise our president… MAGA is dead!”
Carrie Prejean Boller says Donald Trump has “betrayed his country” by starting a war in Iran with Israel, after removing her from the Religious Liberty Commission.

What she’s picturing next looks a lot like the names she just listed.
“Those are the people that we are seeing, ‘Oh, you guys were canceled, you guys were barred.’ So sign me up. I’m willing to support that,” she said, referencing Carlson, Massie, Greene and former counterterrorism official Joe Kent, all of whom have floated forming a third party around opposition to the Iran war and the administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
Marjorie Taylor Greene posted her own version of that pitch on X in early August: “We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center. The movement has begun.”
