Tucker Carlson’s recent bombshell ousting has been cloaked in mystery and secrecy and, therefore, a lot of speculation, assumptions, and conjecture, as the world and the media cycle try to figure out where it all went wrong for the man who was, by all intents and purposes, the Conservative network’s most notable, popular talking head — all with very little to no details from the Murdoch-owned Right-wing media empire.
Fox Network released a deeply vague, short, and pointed statement when they announced Carlson’s sudden and immediate departure from the cable news network, with absolutely no explanation for why the controversial primetime host was unceremoniously kicked out the door — effective immediately — in a move that left the media world’s head spinning. In the hours and days since that announcement, people have searched high and low for some semblance of an explanation as to what went on behind closed doors at Fox News.
While we still don’t have anywhere close to all of the answers, small details and snippets of insider information are slowly beginning to leak out into the press world, and it’s beginning to help put the pieces together.
In a bombshell new report from the Wall Street Journal’s Keach Hagey, Joe Flint, and Isabella Simonetti, we’ve learned that the now-former Fox host was “not impressed” when he learned that network attorneys were able to successfully persuade the court overseeing the infamous Dominion Voting System lawsuit to redact Carlson’s use of the “C-word” toward a senior Fox News executive in a private conversation that was included in a legal filing connected to the defamation lawsuit.

Instead, it seems, Carlson “wanted the world to know” that he’d proudly used such a derogatory term.
Tucker’s use of the C-word in this situation was far from a one-off incident, as the host has been repeatedly accused of invoking the disgusting, derogatory word towards women on multiple occasions.
WSJ reports on the new development:
Several weeks ago, as Fox News lawyers prepared for a courtroom showdown with Dominion Voting Systems, they presented Tucker Carlson with what they thought was good news: They had persuaded the court to redact from a legal filing the time he called a senior Fox News executive the c-word, according to people familiar with the matter.
Mr. Carlson, Fox News’s most-watched prime-time host, wasn’t impressed. He told his colleagues that he wanted the world to know what he had said about the executive in a private message, the people said. Mr. Carlson said comments he made about former President Donald Trump—’I hate him passionately‘—that were in the court documents were said during a momentary spasm of anger, while his dislike of this executive was deep and enduring.”
Carlson reportedly once told Dominion lawyers that he was deeply “embarrassed” that his use of the word came to light in the course of the lawsuit. Yet, this new development directly contradicts his claims to the voting system’s legal team, as it seems the now-former Fox host was deeply unhappy that the proof of his disgustingly misogynistic behavior had been redacted from the court.
