One former South Carolina youth pastor has found himself formally charged with voyeurism after he allegedly installed hidden cameras inside the Baptist church where he was employed with the sole purpose of secretly spying on a bridal party of women who were using the church’s rooms to undress and change clothes.

35-year-old Daniel Kellan Mayfield stands credibly accused of installing a series of hidden cameras inside the Gowensville First Baptist Church in Greenville County, South Carolina, according to local Fox Carolina. Mayfield used those hidden cameras to secretly film and view a bride and her bridal party utilizing the facility’s changing rooms. Mayfield has since been terminated from Gowensville First Baptist Church, where church officials confirmed he served as the student/youth pastor.

To make matters more sickening still, this is not the first time that Mayfield has been busted engaging in similar crimes. The former youth pastor was reportedly already facing other comparable charges related to an arrest that took place in May after a woman called the police to her home after she spotted someone standing outside her bathroom window. Upon going outside to investigate, the woman allegedly discovered Mayfield standing in her backyard.

Fox Carolina reports that, according to the court filing in the most recent incident, the former youth pastor openly admitted to secretly recording the unsuspecting women in various states of undress inside the church. The report further confirms that Mayfield actually handed over the video and allowed his victim to view it. The woman provided police with additional security footage of Mayfield committing the act.

The former Baptist youth pastor now faces 58 charges in Greenville County and one charge in Greenwood County.

According to his LinkedIn page, Mayfiled previously worked as an event coordinator with Compassion International, a missions director at Student Life in Birmingham, Alabama, and a ministry associate at Child Evangelism Fellowship in Roebuck.
