“DEMENTIA! COGNITIVE TEST! RESIGN!”: Trump’s VP Pick Made An Awkward Flub In His Big RNC Speech And Americans Are Lighting Him Up With Sarcastic Irony

I'm sorry. What was that again?

Earlier this week, on the first night of the Republican National Convention, less than 48 hours after he was shot in the ear in a bona fide assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally, Donald Trump finally formally announced his pick for his VP running mate on his 2024 presidential election ticket.

As we’re all well aware now, Trump ultimately went with controversial far-Right Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance — the same guy who, over the years, has had less than loving things to say about the felony-convicted former president and now-confirmed 2024 Republican presidential nominee, including once referring to him as “America’s Hitler” in screenshot receipts that went public thanks to J.D.’s former Yale Law School roommate.

Last night, Vance finally took to the RNC stage to deliver his big speech, which was full of so much brown-nosing and ass-kissing, that we’re thinking he’s trying to make up for those pesky old Hitler comments.

However, Vance seemed to have some… Shall we say… Performance issues, up on the stage.

As viewers were watching his big speech in real-time, a whole lot of people noted that the speech as a whole was just… Boring. In fact, one social media user liked it to a “box of wet matches,” while many people noted that even Trump looked “bored to tears.”

Actually, the only interesting thing to come of that hot mess last night was this rather hilarious flub Vance sputtered out on stage:

Now, of course, as far as flubs go, this one wasn’t huge. In fact, it wasn’t even big. Dare I say, it was probably even pretty normal for someone who’s giving such a major speech while likely having the nervous butterflies of a lifetime.

HOWEVER, Republicans have been absolutely ragging ever tick, stutter, and stumble President Biden has had for years now, which has only increased exponentially as the election creeps closer and closer.

So, naturally, social media had to give Vance and the GOP a little taste of their own medicine with some hilariously sarcastic irony and mockery:

I wonder if the Times will report on this absolute catastrophe.
