Viral Video of JD Vance Walking His Dog Ignites Buzz; People Wonder If He’s Ever Held a Leash Before

JD Vance, not wanting to be seen as weird, brings his dog with him to Milwaukee, which makes him look weird.

Last week, Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz’s dog Scout was featured on the front cover of Dogue, Vogue’s dog zine.

Not to be outdone, Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance felt he needed top that with a video of his German shepherd, Atlas, on Friday as they’re boarding Trump Force Two.

The footage went viral but not in a good way, showing Trump’s running mate who seems to beĀ  less popular than Sarah Palin, awkwardly trying to control Atlas.

It’s suggested that Vance had to respond to Walz in part because Kamala Harris’ running mate referred to him as “weird,” last month.

Even more so, former Trump campaign adviser, S.J. Delgado even criticized him via X (formerly known as Twitter.)

Clearly, the running mate saw this and in response said that Atlas was “not happy” about the wet metal stairs but that he was good on the plane, offering that his dog on a plane was fine.

What makes this more awkward is that Trump has never stuck to the tradition of having a furry friend around him. All presidents tend to reflect the typical American family which would at least have a pet.

Even Delgado mentioned this in another Tweet prior to this.

JD Vance does come across as a “weird” guy, especially when you see how he’s holding that leash. You really would think that he’s never walked his dog before. Many others agree.

This adds to the weirdness factor that Vance has been tagged with long before becoming Trump’s running mate. From his “Childless Cat Ladies” to “Biden might murder Trump supporters with Fentanyl” and/or something about dolphins. Vance has done nothing to distance himself from the nickname Democrats have given him.
