The rally was held at the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office in Howell, a town with a history connected to the Ku Klux Klan. Many people think Trump chose this location to use the town’s controversial past for political gain. DeAdBuRgErKiNg™ aka DBK (@DeadBurgerKing) tweeted:

“Why come to HOWELL?! Of all places. Trump must be desperate and hoping to utilize the connections to the KKK my town sickenly supported. But that was YEARS ago… Maybe he’s hoping to rile up the remnants? If there are any… I HOPE not.”
