I’m not religious so I have to admit I don’t understand the current crop of Christians who for some reason simply adore Donald Trump. I mean, he was even called a “savior” at a Mesa, Arizona church, where his running mate, J.D. Vance was scheduled to pontificate, er, I mean hold a campaign event Wednesday.
ABC 15 reporter Rachel Louise Just showed up early for the fun and games at the Generation Church event, which was sponsored by Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point organization when she spotted a sign outside the venue declaring Trump “this generations savior,” according to Raw Story.

And of course, Trump being who he is, he shared a video that suggested God needed a caretaker for us unruly sinners, so he made the convicted felon/former president our “caretaker.”
“And on 14 June 1946, God looked down on his planned paradise and said: ‘I need a caretaker,’” noted a video shared by Trump on Truth Social. “So God gave us Trump.”
Does God hate Americans or something? I personally don’t think God hates anything because I don’t think there is a God to “hate” anything. At least not in the visage of a white-haired elderly gentleman who tosses lightning bolts around like they are Frisbees.
The other reason that I don’t understand these Trump-worshipping Christians, is that he stands for everything that Jesus was against. We all know what happened when Jesus had an argument with the money changers in the temple, and it didn’t go in their favor. We always hear that Jesus did whatever he could to help the poor and the sick. We’ve heard the story about him changing water into wine and I wish he’d tell me how to do that because then I wouldn’t have to spend any money.
In other words, Jesus helped the suffering. Trump causes suffering. He hates immigrants and has been absolutely cruel to women, and let’s not forget that he mocked a journalist for being disabled. The man is as fake as his spray tan or whatever the hell it is they do to his face. He’s as fake as his bird’s nest hair and is the most completely self-absorbed person I’ve ever listened to.
So I really don’t know why these purported Christians follow Trump around like puppies. I have to put it down to the fact that it’s because he hates all the things he hates, and somehow that makes them still feel like they are Christians.
Even if they’re really only hypocrites.
Just for fun, I’ve included that laudatory and ridiculous “God Made Trump” video below.
