Is something strange going on with Donald Trump?
Following the bizarre incident Monday night when Trump cut short a town hall event in Pennsylvania and spent more than 30 minutes swaying on stage, Trump stayed up late to post a series of strange messages to Truth Social about his and Kamala Harris’ medical records.
Then, on Tuesday morning, Trump abruptly canceled a TV interview. According to The Daily Beast Trump, who at one point never resisted the idea of getting in front of a television camera, pulled out of a planned interview with Squawk Box, on CNBC. The former president was to discuss his economic plans on the business news channel.

The planned interview had not been announced in advance, but while interviewing Oracle Chairman Charles Phillips, CNBC host Joe Kernen announced that “Trump canceled.” Kernen had asked Phillips, who supports Harris, to convince the vice president to appear on the show.
Per the report, “the network had invited Trump to an in-studio sit-down on Squawk Box to take place later this week and that his campaign had initially accepted.”
The Trump camp has not given a reason for backing out of the sitdown, but the report speculated that Trump may have objected to the presence on the panel of Andrew Ross Sorkin, who also works for The New York Times and has reported critically about Trump in the past. Kernen is known as closer to Trump.
This means Trump has not appeared for an interview with a non-Fox mainstream journalist in over a month. Kamala Harris has continued to sit for interviews with both mainstream and less traditional interviewers. One was with 60 Minutes, with which Trump backed out of an interview.

So Trump had a weird town hall last night where he just stood there for 30 minutes listening to songs, was up past 1am rage tweeting about Kamala’s seasonal allergies, and now cancelled on a phone interview with CNBC.
