Pretty much ever since the entire country was forced to go on a widespread lockdown in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus as it rapidly infiltrated the United States, the “president” that’s supposed to be leading us through this national crisis has been whining his wide behind off over his inability to play golf.
As a result of the nationwide shutdown, Donald’s beloved golf courses got shuttered too. And considering that 90 percent of his “presidency” consists of golfing, it’s easy to glean that he was not a happy camper. Not only was the whining pretty much incessantly from day one, the guy made a point to hit the link just as soon as humanly possible as he rushed states to reopen on his timeline.
During his long weekend, as the coronavirus death toll reached the 100k mark, Donald Trump was living it up on the greens, complete with Secret Service members donning masks to follow him around.
Frankly, it’s just yet another sickening display of just how little Donald Trump really cares about the hundreds of thousands of lives that have been lost (and will continue to be lost at this rate) due to this catastrophic pandemic — one that he could have largely prevented had he just responded like a halfway decent leader.

Given Trump’s little Memorial weekend getaway, now seemed as good a time as any to remind you all what a competent president does during times of crisis.
Former U.S. President George W. Bush certainly wasn’t the best leader to ever serve this nation. And I’m not here to act as though he was.
However, compared to the guy that’s currently living it up in the White House, well… He seems like the Dalai Lama.
When Bush’s term was absolutely rocked by the Iraq War in 2003, he completely gave up playing golf out of respect for the families that suffered from the devastating event.
“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf,” Bush said of his decision. “I feel I owe it to the families to be as — to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”
“They pulled me off the golf course and I said, it’s just not worth it anymore to do.”
Bush’s decision alone is enough to send him soaring over the current administration. But to add to the former president’s level of respect and modesty — President Bush didn’t even mention his decision to give up the game until a 2008 interview.
Five entire years.
Bush gave up something he loved out of respect for the lives lost and the families left behind, and he never once bragged about it.
