Donald Trump’s Greensburg, Pennsylvania MAGA turned Save America rally is already off to a really… really bad start tonight, and the former guy has yet to even show his face yet.
For starters, the weather is being less than cooperative for an outdoor event of this nature today, as the National Weather Service warned that there was a 100 percent chance of rain and “New precipitation amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.”
Suffice it to say, there was certainly a lack of preparation with regard to the weather tonight, as rallygoers are left standing in what’s essentially turned the Westmoreland Fairgrounds into little more than a muddy, messy swamp.
But believe it or not, it gets worse still.
It seems the rainy, terrible weather might be making Trump’s supporters a little crabby, as the vast majority of rallygoers out there waiting for the ex-president in the downpour are actually railing against the Republican Pennsylvania Senate candidate Trump just recently publicly endorsed.

The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jonathan Tamari reported of tonight’s upcoming rally, “The event will be packed with celebrities of the right, including J.D. Vance, the Trump-backed Senate candidate who just won a hard-fought GOP primary in Ohio; election conspiracist and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell; and Dinesh D’Souza, who just released a new movie claiming massive wrongdoing in the 2020 presidential election, despite numerous independent reviews that have affirmed the legitimacy of the results.”
But it seems most of the crowd is less than excited for tonight’s main event — TV personality Dr. Mehemet Oz.
Tamari’s colleague Sean Walsh reported on Twitter earlier this evening, “I’ve interviewed 6 attendees at the Trump-Oz rally so far, and it is striking how little support there is for Oz. One said she’ll vote for Oz (was planning to before Trump endorsed). One said he doesn’t trust Oz, but will hear Trump out. Four are anti-Oz (2 for Barnette, 2 undecided.)”

HuffPost correspondent Daniel Marans who is also reporting from tonight’s event wrote, “I have yet to meet anyone here who is a firm supporter of Dr. Oz. In fact, there’s a whole section of people that boos every time he appears on screen.”

Far-right activist Jack Posobiec also tweeted about the booing and noted a straw poll being conducted by a rallygoer that showed less than resounding support for Trump’s Senate seat pick.

Former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski took note too, writing on Twitter, “Every time Oz’s face comes on the screen the crowd at the Trump rally boos. Tonight is going to be interesting,” accompanied by a popcorn emoji.

I really don’t think these unhinged endorsements were Donald’s best idea.
