As soon as the news broke of the search warrant executed at Trump’s Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago resort broke earlier this week, the scandal-ridden former guy himself confirmed the raid in a statement that was delivered to CNN following the news, as well as in a statement through his Save America PAC that was posted across social media.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home… is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has happened to a President of the United States before… They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat [sic] National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States,” Trump fumed in the statement that confirmed the FBI raid at his Palm Beach complex. “The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!”
“The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped,” Trump screamed in the unhinged, fear-laden statement. “I will continue to fight for the Great American People!”
But now, after having a day or two to stew on it all, it seems Trump is out with his true response to the FBI invasion of his home/resort. But, in true Trump fashion, he’d have been better off keeping his mouth shut. Because all he’s managed to do is make himself look guiltier than ever before.

“The FBI and others from the Federal Government would not let anyone, including my lawyers, be anywhere near the areas that were rummaged and otherwise looked at during the raid on Mar-a-Lago,” Trump wrote in his manic, early morning statement today that he posted on Truth Social. “Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wanted to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking or, hopefully not, ‘planting.'”
The former guy went on to question why the FBI agents “STRONGLY insist on having nobody watching them” before screaming that “Obama and Clinton were never ‘raided’ despite big disputes!”
There has been absolutely no evidence to even suggest that FBI officials “planted” any evidence at Trump’s Palm Beach compound, though it’s a notion that Donald’s attorney began floating pretty much immediately. But the fact that Trump’s already harping about “planted” evidence certainly begs the question of what they found.
