Former First Daughter and eldest daughter of scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump finally broke her demure silence on the elephant in the room —her dear daddy’s formal criminal indictment.
The bombshell news we have all been waiting for finally broke, after the Manhattan grand jury officially voted in favor of formally indicting former United States President Donald J. Trump on criminal charges related to the infamous Stormy Daniels hush money payments.
The work and subsequent decision by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, his investigators and prosecutors, and the grand jury made history in this nation this week, serving as the very first time in the history of the United States that a sitting or former US president has ever been charged with a crime.
Donald Trump was ultimately arraigned on Tuesday, where he entered a plea of not guilty to the 34 felony charges lodged against him, as law enforcement officials and the DA’s office were forced to prepare for the security risks that will undoubtedly come from the impending legal proceedings against the 45th president of the United States — especially after Donald Trump has spent the weeks ahead of the indictment inciting as much civil unrest as he can muster.

The former president’s personal response to the brutal criminal indictment was almost instantaneous. Taking to his Truth Social platform, Donald Trump was quick to pen a furious, caps-locked rant, claiming, “THIS IS AN ATTACK ON OUR COUNTRY THE LIKES OF WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE. IT IS LIKEWISE A CONTINUING ATTACK ON OUR ONCE FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS. THE USA IS NOW A THIRD WORLD NATION, A NATION IN SERIOUS DECLINE. SO SAD!”
Given the recent tension between the eldest former first daughter and her ex-presidential dad, we weren’t quite certain whether or not we would even see an official response to the news from Ivanka Trump.
That response did finally come in a statement posted to her Instagram, but frankly, I wouldn’t quite call it impassioned.
In fact, the whole thing was barely three full sentences.
“I love my father, and I love my country,” Ivanka Trump wrote in her social media statement regarding the indictment against her father. “Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”

To be quite frank, I’m not sensing much “concern” from Ivanka Trump at all.
