This whole situation between former Trump-era Attorney General Bill Barr and his old boss, ex-President Donald Trump just seems to be getting weirder and weirder with each passing day, at this point.
As I’m sure you’re well aware by now, the two formerly close pals have been feuding rather publicly here lately, as Barr seems to desperately try to rehab his reputation through his new book, One Damn Thing After Another, that’s essentially a few hundred pages of bashing his old boss in pretty much every conceivable way — which, of course, ruffles Donald’s feathers so bad he can hardly stand it.
Frankly, in my not-so-humble opinion, neither one of these jackasses are even remotely redeemable. I don’t give a damn how many Trump trashing books Bill writes.
But nevertheless, despite the fact that he always has been, continues to be, and always will be an absolute garbage human being, we can’t deny that a lot of the new info coming out in Barr’s tell-all is not only hilarious, it’s trademarked Trump nonsense, on the nose, if ever we’ve seen it.

During a recent interview on NBC’s Meet The Press, where he was, of course, promoting his new book, the former US Attorney General likened working with Donald Trump and his inner circle to “wrestling an alligator,” specifically when it came to trying to keep the then-president on track in any way.
“I say that he tends to surround himself with people who will tell him what he wants to hear. Before the election, you know, he cast his net broadly and talked to a lot of people, and cabinet secretaries, all of us frequently had to wrestle with him to accomplish things that we thought would keep him on track,” Barr explained in the interview. “And we were successful, generally, but it was frequently like wrestling an alligator.”
“After the election, he would just listen to this group of people who had no government position but were telling him exactly what he wanted to hear. He’s ultimately to blame for that. There’s something about him that he wants to be surrounded by yes men.”
A portion of Barr’s new tell-all is dedicated to his descriptive comparison between working with Donald Trump and “Groundhog Day.” Business Insider recently reported that the former AG’s book called the now-ex-president “a “hyperactive generator of ideas” that were “bad” and “legally problematic.”
But with all that being said, let’s not forget that Barr simply has not had the sudden change of heart he’s trying to portray these days. Bill himself recently admitted that, though he’s certainly not his first choice, he would still vote for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, should the one-term, twice-impeached former president end up being the Republican nominee.
“I certainly have made it clear: I don’t think he should be our nominee, and I’m going to support somebody else for the nomination,” Barr recently stated.
And frankly, that’s just not okay with us.
