Scandal-plagued former President Donald Trump made American heads roll once again after he took to his struggling Truth Social platform to go on a wildly unhinged, borderline manic, and full-on offensive all-caps Memorial Day rant, in which he effectively spit on the graves of every single fallen United States service member as he hijacked the solemn day of remembrance to launch yet another tired out attack on his enemies, as he faces down the legal troubles of a lifetime from every conceivable direction.
While we’ve certainly come to realize over the years that there is truly no low that Donald Trump won’t willingly sink to, that doesn’t stop the absolute disgust we feel when he pulls stunts such as this, as he utilized Memorial Day to all but blatantly compare the mountain of legal woes he’s brought down on his own head to the life-altering struggles experienced by American soldiers throughout various US wars.
Writing on Truth Social, the disgraced former US president raged in all caps:
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, BUT ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR THE COUNTRY THEY LOVE, AND TO THOSE IN LINE OF A VERY DIFFERENT, BUT EQUALLY DANGEROUS FIRE, STOPPING THE THREATS OF THE TERRORISTS, MISFITS AND LUNATIC THUGS WHO ARE WORKING FEVERISHLY FROM WITHIN TO OVERTURN AND DESTROY OUR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY, WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN IN GREATER PERIL THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW. WE MUST STOP THE COMMUNISTS, MARXISTS AND FASCIST ‘PIGS’ AT EVERY TURN AND, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Suffice it to say, the American people were more than a little offended by Trump’s decision to “mark” such a somber, solemn day with one of his trademarked, self-serving, narcissistic rants:
