Donald Trump Was Seemingly Captured On Video Casually Talking About Vladimir Putin On Speaker Phone Call And It Made Our Skin Crawl: “He Was A Friend Of Mine, I Got Along Great With Him”

I have no words.

Over the years that I have been in this industry, I have often found myself thinking, sometimes saying, and occasionally even reporting, “We could not make this up if we tried” — Usually when it comes to something Donald Trump has done or said. And every time I’ve used the phrase, in whichever of the various capacities, I’ve always meant it. But this time… This time takes the cake in a way that I genuinely cannot even begin to describe.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that we are all currently tipping on the precipice of a third World War. Russian dictatorial President Vladimir Putin launched a heinous war against the country of Ukraine and its people, after the senseless invasion and attack on February 24th. Since then, the Russian dictator has used his military to bomb, attack, and attempt to siege the entire country of Ukraine, with zero regards for civilian areas or civilian lives. All while he lies to his own people, claiming that the invasion is due to Nazi leadership in Ukraine, and threatens imprisonment, or worse, for any Russian citizen who dares to try to tell the truth about what Russia is REALLY doing in Ukraine.

Not to mention, he continues to stop just short of threatening nuclear warfare against any other nation that should try to retaliate against him.

If you didn’t know it before, it’s impossible not to know it now — Vladimir Putin is and always has been the embodiment of true evil.

And apparently a good friend of Donald Trump’s.

The disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached president has spent the last several days reminding us all of how dangerous he truly is, as he’s heaped his praises on his favorite Russian dictator, publicly seemed to make excuses for what Putin has done, and of course, attempted to take credit for everything from NATO to Ukraine’s weapons and battle successes.

But all of that seems to pale in comparison to this.

In an unverified new video posted to social media by Golf Magazine’s Tim Reilly, an alleged conversation between former President Trump and golfer John Daly was captured and as the ex-president spoke to Daly on speakerphone, Trump casually spoke about the Russian dictator who is currently committing mass murder, in such a casual, friendly way, that it genuinely left me sick to my stomach.

“They’re all saying ‘Oh, he’s in nuclear power!’ It’s like they’re afraid of him,” the voice reportedly belonging to Donald Trump on the phone says. “You know, he was a friend of mine. I got along great with him.”

Trump then proceeded to casually chat about how Putin listened to him and something like this never happened on his watch, and so on, and so forth.

See for yourself:

I couldn’t make this up if I tried. But honestly, I wish that I were. At least that would mean we didn’t spend four years under the reign of a man who considered himself “good friends” with a heinous, murderous dictator.
