According To A New Report, Trump Has Discussed Giving Out Pardons “Like Christmas Gifts” To People Who Haven’t Even Asked

Everybody gets a pardon!

Donald Trump is reportedly accepting pardon requests from members of his crime-infested administration. Still, he’s also blindly discussing handing out pardons “like Christmas gifts” to people who haven’t even asked for one,  Axios reports. The one-term, lame-duck, impeached president even told one adviser that he was going to pardon “every person who ever talked to me.” The news outlet reports that the adviser wasn’t sure how seriously to take the president at that point — although Trump gave no indication he was joking. And we all know that our abusive narcissistic president lacks a sense of humor, especially now as he tries to cling to power after Joe Biden curb-stomped him in the electoral and popular vote.

We can expect a flurry of pardons issued by Trump in the coming days.

The president relishes his unilateral authority to issue get-out-of-jail-free cards. Lately, though, he’s been soliciting recipients, asking friends and advisers who they think he should pardon.

So, Trump is just walking around the White House asking friends and advisers who he should pardon. The publication reports that Trump “has also interrupted conversations to spontaneously suggest that he add the person he’s speaking with to his pardon list.” However, not all of Trump’s associates are eager to be pardoned by this president. Because some of them don’t appear to have committed any crimes. And one adviser felt that a pardon from Trump would damage his reputation.

And this weird news follows reports from multiple networks that Trump is considering the idea of issuing preemptive pardons for his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who heads the president’s bizarre election fraud legal team, and his eldest children who are likely to face legal issues of their own after their father vacates the White House. Trump will no longer be protected by the presidency from legal repercussions once Biden is sworn in.

And Trump could potentially pardon himself, but it’s unclear whether that would be legal or not. However, even if he did, it would not protect the former reality show star from state charges. We really should have added the obligatory Oprah gif in this article. You get a pardon, and you get a pardon, and YOU get a pardon.
