Americans Have A Lot Of Thoughts About Trump’s Warm-Up Music For Tonight’s Big Speech: “This Is GROTESQUE”

You can't make this stuff up...

As we speak, scandal-ridden, newly indicted, and arraigned former President Donald Trump is addressing a room full of his most devout sycophants at his Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House personal home.

US history was made today, as millions of Americans watched as the moment we have all been waiting so many long, hard years for unfolded on live television for the world to see — former President Donald J. Trump walking inside a Manhattan courthouse, where he was technically arrested, booked, fingerprinted, processed, and then faced his formal arraignment on a staggering 34 felony charges related to the infamous Stormy Daniels hush money investigation, and multiple other newly-uncovered schemes by the ex-president and his people to silence individuals ahead of the 2016 presidential election, and cooking their books to keep from getting caught.

Photos have since been released from inside the Manhattan courtroom — after Trump’s legal team won their bid to ban live cameras from the historical legal proceedings — and were quick to show that the scandal-ridden ex-president did not look to be in good spirits as he faces down the most monumental, brutal legal peril of his life.

But the big guy can’t let the public figure that out.

The scandal-ridden ex-president is instead putting on his best show after returning to his Palm Beach compound, complete with a rather interesting choice in hype music before tonight’s festivities kicked off.

Vox reporter Aaron Rupar is doing the Lord’s work tonight with a Twitter thread covering Trump’s big speech, and posted one video from before Donald made it to the stage, captioning, “Trump’s warmup music tonight includes Bowie’s ‘Rebel Rebel.'”

Believe me, Americans had a lot of thoughts:

You really can’t make this stuff up.
