In case you missed the bombshell news today, (though you’d have to be living under a rock to miss this,) the Federal Bureau of Investigation has executed a search warrant raid on ex-President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home/resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
CNN’s Kaitlin Collins reports that Donald J. Trump himself confirmed the FBI search and raid of his country club and post-White House home in a lengthy statement he released to the outlet, full of unhinged rage against Democrats, law enforcement officials, and even Hilary Clinton.
The scandal-ridden ex-president’s statement reads:
These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home… is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has happened to a President of the United States before… They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat [sic] National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!”

It remains unclear as to what the FBI was searching for during the raid of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Palm Beach resort. However, multiple recent reports have indicated that the Justice Department’s investigation into the corrupt former president and his attempts to overthrow the 2020 presidential election has gained an enormous amount of steam as of late. And, of course, the speculations and educated theories are already beginning to swirl.
But one attorney (who’s legit enough to be followed by the press secretary on Twitter) took to social media account on the heels of the explosive news with one particular theory that makes more sense than them all, and spells detrimental news for the former guy and his hopes of a White House return.
Attorney Marc Elias wrote on Twitter, “The media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics.”

Much of the theories regarding the “why” behind Trump’s FBI raid come down to the National Archives documents and, according to this U.S. code that Trump stands in direct violation of, this could very well mean that his possibility of a 2nd term in the White House just swirled the toilet faster than his official documents.
