Bill Barr Reveals Trump Send Staffers To Chase Him Down Following His Resignation

This is disturbing...

Former Trump-era Attorney General Bill Barr made an appearance on a podcast episode this week, where he revealed that Donald Trump sent a band of his staffers to chase down the AG immediately after the then-president begrudgingly accepted Barr’s resignation on the heels of the January 6th Capitol attack — something Barr describes as an “eerie” experience.

According to Barr, the incident took place in late December of 2020, in the direct aftermath of the then-AG’s decision to leave Donald Trump’s cabinet following weeks of claims that the 2020 election was fraught with nationwide fraud and Donald’s win was ultimately stolen from him, despite Barr’s and the DOJ’s extensive investigation into the matter that found no evidence of fraud to back up Trump’s unhinged, desperate claims.

In an appearance on Honestly with Bari Weiss, Barr recalled Trump “shifted off issues of fraud and said I should have indicted [former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James] Comey and so forth and so on and I said, ‘look, I know you’re unhappy with me, I’m going to have to tender my resignation.”

He went on to reveal that Donald “slammed the table and everyone jumped and he said, ‘accepted.’ So I said, ‘okay,’ and I left and was getting into my car right outside the White House – in my FBI [Chevrolet] Suburban – and all of a sudden people started pounding on the windows.”

“It was late at night and raining so it was sort of this eerie thing. Everyone in the car jumped,” the former AG explained. “And the president had sent then-White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and another White House lawyer out to retrieve me and say, ‘nevermind, he’s not gonna fire you,’ and ‘would you come back in?’ And I said, ‘I don’t think there’s any use to going back in tonight. I’m gonna go home but we can talk about it in the morning.'”

If that’s not terrifying…
