Brutal New Filing Calls On Alex Jones To Relinquish Control Of His Company As He Stands Accused Of Hiding Literal Millions To Avoid Paying Colossal Damages In Defamation Suit He Lost

It seems Right-wing conspiracy theorist and InfoWars host Alex Jones is doing his damndest to weasel his way out of the massive $49.3 million in damages he was recently ordered to pay to the families of Sandy Hook victims after he brutally lost the high-profile defamation suit lodged against him for publicly claiming on his talk show that the elementary school shooting that claimed 26 innocent lives in 2012 — and the families are having absolutely no part of his scams and games.

Following the expensive ruling, Sandy Hook families have accused Jones of intentionally hiding literal millions to avoid forking over the massive damages he was ordered to pay in connection to the high-profile defamation suit he lost. And now, they have filed a brutal new court filing, calling for Jones to relinquish control of his company, Free Speech Systems, under the allegation that he “systematically transferred millions of dollars” to himself and others in an effort to weasel his way out of paying the court ordered damages to the families.

The bombshell new court filing reads:

Since the Sandy Hook Families filed their lawsuits, the Debtor has systematically transferred millions of dollars to Alex Jones and his relatives and insider entities. It claims to owe a massive, secured debt to an insider that was first documented as a loan when the Sandy Hook Families were securing key wins in Connecticut and Texas, but no records show that an actual debt existed before the Sandy Hook Families sued.”

In the new filing, the Sandy Hook families request that an independent committee be appointed to take on an investigation into the financial state and standing of Alex Jones’ company to “ensure transparency, accountability and maximize the Debtor’s Estate for all creditors” and a bankruptcy trustee would be appointed to seize control of Free Speech Systems.

Reporting from the New York Times on the matter notes that an attorney for the InfoWars host has already confirmed that they would be filing a response to the new motion in the very near future.

Just last month, Jones’ Free Speech Systems filed for bankruptcy, but the notion of a financial burden for the Right-wing conspiracy theorist has been a point of contention throughout the trial, as Sandy Hook families and their legal team have asserted that the company’s bankruptcy is a sham.

Sandy Hook attorney Kyle Farrar spoke out on behalf of the families, saying, “Alex Jones is not financially bankrupt; he is morally bankrupt, which is becoming more and more clear as we discover his plots to hide money and evade responsibility.”
