Following his 60 Minutes interview with Lesley Stahl, Donald Trump threw a massive pity party, then repeatedly attacked the veteran journalist. And then today, Trump leaked footage of the interview, resulting in one of the biggest self-owns in history. Wherever Trump goes, he brings his narcissistic baggage, and a lot of drama follows the former reality show star. Trump admitted in the interview that he didn’t want to take “tough questions.” He somehow claimed that he really didn’t want to lock up Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer — even though there is footage showing the opposite to be true.
On Thursday, CBS News called out the White House for violating an agreement it had with the network ahead of its Sunday air date. And I’m truly of the notion that Trump released it so that the interview would not garner massive ratings. After all, we’ve already seen the footage now, and CBS is not happy.
“The White House’s unprecedented decision to disregard their agreement with CBS News and release their footage will not deter ’60 Minutes’ from providing its full, fair and contextual reporting which presidents have participated in for decades,” CBS News said in a statement.
“Few journalists have the presidential interview experience Lesley Stahl has delivered over her decades as one of the premier correspondents in America and we look forward to audiences seeing her third interview with President Trump and subsequent interview with Vice President Pence this weekend,” the network added.

Once again, Trump breaks norms and agreements, but we’ve come to expect nothing less from this president. Trump’s narcissism and lies that go with that have been exposed now. That’s something a malignant narcissist can’t handle, especially when he’s likely about to lose the election to Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Trump is trying to distract us once again from his failure to lead our country through several national crises.
When asked about locking up former President Barack Obama, whom Trump has baselessly accused of treason, Trump said, “I don’t want to lock him up, but he spied on my campaign. Obama and Biden spied on my campaign.”
“That’s never been verified,” Stahl interjected.
And she’s right. And we should all watch the 60 Minutes interview to send a message to this abusive president. What he’s doing is not OK, and we are not here to feed his ego.
