Chelsea Clinton Responds To Republican Congressman’s Tweet Mocking Her Parents

She made him look like an idiot.

While most of us spent Christmas Eve spending time with friends and family members, Arizona Republican lawmaker Paul Gosar focused on his party’s main obsession: Hillary Clinton. Gosar’s siblings aren’t very fond of him anyway so family get-togethers must be awkward. So, he lasered in on Donald Trump’s former rival. The former Secretary of State lives in Republicans’ heads and there is a lot of room in Gosar’s head, apparently.

Gosar shared a clip of a scene from Bill and Hillary Clinton’s 60 Minutes interview in 1992 showing a lighting set-up crashing behind the former First Lady. Hillary yells out, “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!” as her husband grabs her to safely pull her away.

The Republican lawmaker captioned his tweet with, “Remember the reason for the season!”

Watch:

Neither Bill nor Hillary Clinton responded to Gosar’s tweet that went viral but the former First Daughter did. Chelsea Clinton handled it gracefully, tweeting, “At 11am on Christmas Eve, we were making cookies for Santa. Thank you Congressman @RepGosar for reminding me of my dad’s quick reflexes!”

Clinton could have been badly injured, obviously, and the Republican lawmaker used the religious holiday to gloat about the incident. He’s a vile man — just ask his siblings.

Watch:

We’re pretty sure Gosar did not lash out at Hillary Clinton over her misuse of emails, because if that was the case, he would also attack Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and other members of the administration that seem to have an even worse time with their emails than  Clinton ever did. It’s a good thing Clinton has a security detail since Republicans obsess over her, but it’s OK. She’s living her best life — and she was not impeached.
