Have you ever wondered if the truth still matters in politics? Well, Claudia Conway is here to show us that it does! Claudia, daughter of Kellyanne Conway, made sure to correct one of Donald Trump’s biggest lies during a live chat on her mother’s FOX Nation show, Here’s The Deal. Claudia, known for speaking out against her mom’s political views, once again proved she is committed to the truth, even when it’s hard. The 19-year-old has been using her platform to make sure people hear facts instead of false claims, especially when it comes to critical issues like abortion.
One of the most powerful moments in the show came when Claudia addressed the ongoing abortion debate. She later tweeted, “The facts speak for themselves: let’s stop demonizing women for making decisions about their own bodies. Bodily autonomy for all 💖.”

In her tweet, she shared real data from the CDC and Pew Research Center. She explained that 93% of abortions happen within the first 13 weeks, 6% between 14 and 20 weeks, and less than 1% after 21 weeks. By sharing this, Claudia was making sure that people understand the truth about abortion rather than believing harmful lies.

This brings us to Trump’s major lie during his last debate with Kamala Harris. While discussing abortion, Trump claimed that Democrats support “post-birth abortions.” He even said that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris’ running mate, thinks that “execution after birth” is acceptable. His words were, “He also says execution after birth, it’s execution, no longer abortion, because the baby is born, is OK.” This statement was completely false. There is no evidence that any Democrats support this idea, yet Trump continues to spread this misinformation.
During the show, Kellyanne Conway, a longtime supporter of Trump, asked her daughter why people always focus on political disagreements instead of what they have in common. Claudia responded by saying that people see politics in too much of a black-and-white way. She explained, “I think we have a very binary view of politics.” This means that people think they must fully agree with one party or another, and that’s not true. As a registered independent, Claudia believes you don’t have to agree with everything a party says.
Claudia also talked about what issues matter most to her generation, Gen Z. She mentioned reproductive health care, housing costs, and international conflicts, like the war between Israel and Hamas, as some of the biggest concerns. “My generation cares about reproductive health care,” Claudia said. She also pointed out that how young people receive information, especially through social media, is very important. Gen Z wants to stay informed, and they want to make sure they’re hearing accurate information.
Claudia Conway’s fact-checking during her mother’s show highlights how important it is to speak the truth in politics. Young people are ready to challenge lies and misinformation. With voices like Claudia’s, we can keep our discussions honest. Isn’t it time we all stood up for the truth?
