According to bombshell reporting from CNN, Cassidy Hutchinson’s explosive surprise testimony regarding Donald Trump’s visceral and heated reaction to being told that he could not march to the Capitol building with his mob of supporters on January 6th has now been corroborated by a police officer who was a part of the then-president’s motorcade on that fateful day.

Former White House Aide to Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson, recently delivered a damning under-oath testimony before the January 6th House Select Committee during a surprise public hearing, after the Committee had previously paused all hearings to comb through an influx of new evidence they had acquired.

In her testimony, Hutchinson spoke of a conversation with Trump Deputy Chief of Staff Tony Ornato and Robert Engel, who served as the head of Donald Trump’s Secret Service detail at the time.

Cassidy testified before the Committee:

I looked at Tony, and he had said, ‘Did you f*cking hear what happened in the Beast?’ I said, ‘No, Tony, I just got back. What happened?’ Tony proceeded to tell me that when the president got in the Beast, he was under the impression from Mr. [Mark] Meadows that the off-the-record movement to the Capitol was still possible and likely to happen, but that Bobby had more information.

So once the president had gotten into the vehicle with Bobby, he thought they were going up to the Capitol, and when Bobby had relayed to him, we’re not, we don’t have the assets to do it, it’s not secure, we’re going back to the West Wing, the president had very strong, very angry response to that.”

Now, CNN reports that, according to an inside source, Hutchinson’s account has been confirmed by a Washington police officer who was present at the time of the aforementioned incident.

CNN’s Erin Burnett reports, “Breaking news, a source telling CNN a Washington police officer who was in Trump’s motorcade on Jan. 6 has corroborated details of the heated exchange Trump had with his Secret Service detail when he was told he could not go to the U.S. Capitol and he wanted to go.”

“This development comes as a government watchdog reveals the Secret Service erased messages from the day of the insurrection — after investigators asked for them,” Burnett stated.
