White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki certainly handles herself better than her predecessors from the previous administration. She’s definitely been asked some remarkable questions from the right-wing media that she shoots down with ease. Psaki has been a breath of fresh air after we suffered through Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kayleigh McEnany during Trump’s time in office.
It’s nice not being lied to during multiple national crises, and it was refreshing when Psaki brought homemade cookies for the reporters, instead of listing the president’s grievances as the former administration did. But, Trump supporters somehow took umbrage with Psaki’s gesture.

Isn’t that nice! This administration is such good friends with the journalists who are supposed to be the people’s watch dogs of those in power.
The Corporate Press is the enemy of the people. They are state media.

Well, Trump supporters were mad before Trump got elected, and they were mad after he got elected. And now, they’re still mad — this time, about cookies. President Joe Biden has successfully tackled delivering over 200 million vaccines into American arms, and the economy is bouncing back, but sure, stay mad. Trump left behind a mess for Biden as he entered the White House with coronavirus cases spiking, millions of Americans out of work, rising calls for racial justice, and a climate crisis to deal with. But sure, be mad at cookies.
