The DNC is taking its 2024 election strategy to new heights—literally. In a bold move, the Democratic National Committee is flying anti-Trump banners over college football games. With Trump’s influence looming large, the banners will remind fans that the biggest contest is still ahead in November.
The plan aims to grab the attention of key battleground states essential for the 2024 election, particularly targeting younger voters. The DNC will float banners over stadiums during high-profile games like the University of Georgia vs. Tennessee Tech, Pennsylvania State vs. Bowling Green, and the University of Wisconsin vs. South Dakota.
DNC spokesman Abhi Rahman explained the strategy: “The DNC is reaching voters where they are. These banners carry a message that resonates with fans and reminds them that the most important contest is still to come in November.”
A key point of focus is Trump’s controversial Project 2025, a plan he’s publicly distanced himself from on the campaign trail. If Trump succeeds in the 2024 election, the project would aim to dismantle the government and concentrate power in his hands, effectively making him a dictator.

The banners also target Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, an Ohio State alum. A banner will fly over the game to remind fans of his political loyalties, which he’s been vocal about during campaign stops across Michigan. During his RNC speech, he especially threw more shade at Michigan.
“To my Ohio brethren, guys, we gotta win Michigan. That’s the most important thing this election cycle,” Vance said.
