Charlie Kirk’s life will be honored next week at State Farm Stadium, and President Donald Trump is set to attend the service.
Turning Point USA, the organization Kirk founded, invited supporters to join in “celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy” of the conservative activist.
The memorial is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, at the Glendale, Arizona stadium. It has 63,400 fixed seats and can hold up to 73,000 for larger events. Over the years, it has hosted 3 Super Bowls, the College National Championship, WrestleMania, and the annual Fiesta Bowl, making it a fitting venue for such a large gathering.
Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on Wednesday while speaking at a university event in Utah. A single bullet struck him in the neck, shocking the nation and raising urgent conversations about political violence.

President Trump confirmed earlier this week that he would attend the memorial. He has long praised Kirk and described him as a close ally. Many of Kirk’s supporters took to social media to express relief that Trump would be present to pay his respects.
Kirk’s wife, Erika, has been at the heart of public mourning. On Friday, she shared images of herself beside his casket. Overcome with emotion, she whispered, “Oh I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. God bless you.” Her grief was raw and deeply moving.
Erika also vowed to carry on her husband’s mission. Speaking from his studio, she said, “Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby. I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.” Her words were heartfelt and resolute, showing her commitment to continue Kirk’s work.
The man accused of killing Kirk has been identified and arrested. Tyler Robinson, 22, from Washington, Utah, was taken into custody after a 33-hour manhunt. He faces charges including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily harm, and obstruction of justice. Authorities said Robinson had engraved messages on bullets referencing internet culture and anti-fascist ideas before firing the fatal shot.
Robinson was handed over to police by his father and a minister after law enforcement shared images of a person of interest. FBI Director Kash Patel called the arrest “historic,” praising the bureau for ending the manhunt. Questions remain about how Robinson acted alone and the initial investigation gaps.
Robinson lives with his family in a six-bedroom home valued at $600,000 in Washington, Utah, about 260 miles from where Kirk was killed. Social media posts from his family show him enjoying vacations with his brothers and celebrating milestones like college acceptance, contrasting sharply with the violence he is accused of committing.
