During Donald Trump’s event at Mount Rushmore on Friday night, a glimpse of the attendees was jaw-dropping as the president’s fans were not practicing social distancing amid the pandemic, and few protective face masks could be seen in the audience. And now, news broke that Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Trump’s eldest son and a top fund-raising official for the Trump re-election campaign, tested positive for the COVID-19 just before the Fourth of July event at Mount Rushmore, according to the New York Times.
The event tonight, obviously, will be a super-spreader with attendees appearing to be plague enthusiasts. Guilfoyle traveled to South Dakota with Donald Trump Jr., in anticipation of attending a huge fireworks display where the president is scheduled to give a MAGA speech. They did not, however, reportedly travel aboard Air Force One, and Guilfoyle was the only person in the group who tested positive.
Individuals who come in close proximity with Trump are tested for the coronavirus as a precaution. Guilfoyle’s case marks the third person who has been physically close to Trump that has contracted the virus.
Kimberly Guilfoyle attended Trump’s Tulsa rally late last month, so this should get interesting. Everyone has been advised repeatedly to social distance and wear a protective face mask. This is common knowledge that experts have offered to flatten the coronavirus curve. I’m old enough to remember when Trump said he could shoot people on 5th Avenue in New York City, and he wouldn’t lose any support. Well, here we are. Hours before the Tulsa rally started, the Trump campaign announced that six staffers who helped set up the event had tested positive for COVID-19.

Trump should give his son’s fuckbuddy a big hug and lick her eyeballs since he feels the virus is just a hoax. While the rest of us have sacrificed and remained at home, worn masks to protect others, and taken a financial hit due to the pandemic, those in Trump’s orbit have done nothing to alleviate the pain Americans are going through. At some point, people in this administration will need to be held accountable. Trump is going to have fireworks at his event tonight after one hundred and thirty-thousand Americans have died from the coronavirus.
