Donald Trump Appeared To Openly Threaten Jack Smith, Warned Special Counsel It Would Be “Very Dangerous” To Send Him To Jail For His Crimes

It seems Trump is making open threats now.

Experts and insiders have long been warning that, despite Donald Trump’s air of confidence and arrogance in the public’s eye, the man is truly terrified to his core when it comes to the sprawling investigations and brutal indictments lodged against him because, at the end of the day, he knows in his heart that a prison sentence is very likely in his near future.

While Trump continues to publicly behave like the conceited, narcissistic, untouchable blowhard we all know him to be, the former president’s facade of confidence in his ability to get away with it all is beginning to crack, whether he realizes it or not.

As a result of those cracks, it seems the scandal-plagued former president has now resorted to making open threats against the man who just slapped him with 37 federal criminal charges — many of which are serious felonies that could earn Donald Trump a collective life sentence behind bars.

Recently, Trump made a bit of a scene in the news cycle when he personally announced in a statement posted to his Truth Social platform that he’s soon to be indicted by Jack Smith for the second time, this time on charges related to his efforts to overthrow the 2020 election, and his role in inciting the deadly violence that took place at the Capitol building on January 6th, 2021.

That statement was a clear indicator that Donald Trump knows damn good and well what his future holds — real jail time — and he’s terrified.

Terrified enough, in fact, to invoke that same air of violent rhetoric that’s earning him these charges in the first place.

Following these bombshell developments in the DOJ’s January 6th case against him, Trump sat for an interview with Iowa’s The Simon Conway Show, where he spoke with host Doug Wagner filling in for Simon Conway.

Wagner didn’t waste any time in addressing the elephant in the room as he questioned the scandal-plagued ex-president on the prospect of being jailed prior to his impending trial, asking Donald Trump what his message to his fans and supporters is amid this legal mess.

Mediaite reported the following transcript of that interview:

DOUG WAGNER: Is it something that concerns you of the people making sure that they don’t go out of their right mind if something like that happens, if that, for example, they do say — Jack Smith says, OK, I’m going to put Donald Trump in jail?

DONALD TRUMP: I think it’s a very dangerous thing to even talk about, because we do have a tremendously passionate group of voters, much more passion than they had in 2020 and much more passion than they had in 2016.

I think it would be very dangerous.

If that’s not a threat, I truly don’t know what is.
