He should be worried.

Donald Trump is reportedly losing sleep and wracked with anxiety as Election Day approaches, obsessing over his polling numbers in a bid to find any hint of a comeback. According to a campaign official speaking with Axios, Trump’s focus has turned intense, with his constant questions and push for staff to ramp up efforts signaling a desperate desire to overtake Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Trump’s anxiety is evident in his late-night and early-morning calls to aides, where he peppers them with questions on campaign progress—and repeatedly asks if they think he’ll win,” reported Axios, painting a picture of a former president uneasy about his standing.

Despite some relief offered by his chief pollster Tony Fabrizio, who released a memo suggesting Trump’s chances look better this time than in his previous three runs, skepticism remains. Polling expert Nate Silver recently warned that some results may not be as reliable as they appear, citing the risk of “putting a finger on the scale” due to affiliations or selective data.

Trump’s concerns are echoed by GOP leaders equally nervous about turnout. Far-right activist Charlie Kirk sounded the alarm on social media, bluntly warning, “If men don’t show up to vote, Kamala is president. It’s that simple.”

This heightened worry underscores the unease within Trump’s camp, as their path to victory looks far from certain and hinges on turnout, particularly from key demographic groups.
