Former President and Republican 2024 presidential nominee Donald Trump reignited his racism-fueled attacks on his newly installed Democratic opponent Kamala Harris last night and appeared to add in a new line of vitriol when he appeared to purposely misspell her first name in what seems to be an attempt to concoct an insulting nickname, as he’s been known to do with many of his past enemies.
Multiple reports have confirmed that the former president has been struggling to find his footing in the race against Harris, after President Biden rather suddenly and unexpectedly announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential election, while almost simultaneously endorsing his sitting Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement for the Democratic nomination — a position that has not yet been confirmed, with the DNC still a few days away, but Harris has already successfully garnered the necessary support for.
Last night, Trump took to his Truth Social platform with two successive, caps-lock-ridden posts, in which he repeatedly referred to his Democratic opponent as “Kamabla.”
“People vote with their STOMACH, and food is now at an all time high because of Kamabla/Biden INCOMPETENCE,” Trump wrote in the first Truth Social post. “With them in charge, IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE!”

The former president almost immediately followed up with a second post, in which he continued in the same vein: “Kamabla has stated, over and over again, that she wants to DEFUND THE POLICE AND, WITHOUT QUESTION, BAN FRACKING.NO MORE FOSSIL FUEL. This will quadruple the cost of energy in America!” DEPRESSION ANYONE!”
Just last week, Donald Trump found himself at the center of controversy and criticism following his tumultuous appearance at a Q&A session at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, where he attempted to openly draw questions and scrutiny surrounding Kamala Harris’ Blackness.
“I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black,” Trump said during the convention. “And now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?”
Trump would later go on to publicly congratulate himself for his NABJ appearance, claiming that he “CRUSHED IT!” despite the nationwide backlash.
