The Duggar family as a whole seems to be desperately trying to adjust the narrative to make it seem like their son Josh was merely a bad apple in a basket full of 20 other shiny, perfect Galas — after the eldest Duggar spawn was convicted on heinous charges of child pornography this week, following a long string of historical sex scandals that rocked the family, hailing from Josh.
Over the years, the oldest 19 Kids and Counting child has been busted for molesting his sisters and a babysitter, was caught up in the massive Ashley Madison hack, and admitted to regularly being unfaithful to his wife.
The child pornography charges were essentially just icing on what was already a massive shit cake.
Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, eventually released a statement in response to their son’s guilty verdict, and while they didn’t seem to argue the charges or verdict, they certainly didn’t go to any lengths to accept or even recognize their part in the whole matter.

In fact, their response to this development, as well as all of Josh’s prior scandals, have seemingly reeked of self-importance and an overall air of “Well, he’s a bad apple, but the rest of us are good, God-fearing Christians. Perfection, epitomized.”
But it seems that’s bullshit too.

New reports have revealed that Josh Duggar isn’t the only one 19 Kids and Counting spawn to grapple with run-ins with the law.
Just a mere day after Josh’s brutal guilty verdict came down, news broke from multiple outlets that Josh’s younger sister Jana (she and her twin, John David, came right after Josh) was recently charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, which she has reportedly pleaded not guilty to.
Some reports have indicated that Jana ultimately took a plea deal on the charges, but we’ve been unable to verify that with certainty.
PEOPLE reports, “According to the Washington County court document obtained by PEOPLE, the 19 Kids and Counting alum, 31, received the citation on Sept. 9. She has pleaded not guilty to the charge.”
Thus far, the details surrounding what actually happened between Jana and this unidentified child are still unclear, but we will update the story as developments are made.
Just let this serve as a solemn reminder, that the entire family has a whole lot they’re not telling us.
