Jim Bob Duggar, Who’s Running For AR Senate, And Wife Michelle Break Their Silence In Response To Son Josh’s Disturbing Child Content Conviction, And People Are Tearing Them Apart

NOT good enough.

Yesterday, news broke that former TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar was finally convicted by a jury of his peers on counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.

Back in April of this year, the Department of Homeland Security raided the used car lot where Duggar worked and seized a laptop belonging to the eldest Duggar spawn, with an IP address that had been traced to the download of child pornography images. Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Gerald Faulkner described the child sex abuse content as “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine.” Duggar had received and/or possessed images and videos of disturbing sex abuse against children ranging from 18 months to 12 years of age.

Following his conviction yesterday, the judge on the case said to expect Duggar’s sentencing in around 4 months. Once sentenced, the former reality TV star faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine per count.

As heinous as this situation is, it is far from the first sex scandal Josh Duggar has found himself at the center of.

Back in 2015, news broke that Duggar had molested 5 underage girls, four of which were his own sisters, the other a babysitter. Later in the same year, it was the massive Ashley Madison hack that busted Josh for an addiction to pornography, and several instances of affairs outside his marriage to his wife Anna, with whom he shares a total of 7 children now.

To say the very least, Josh Duggar is no stranger to disgusting scandals involving that particular appendage of his that he can’t seem to keep in his pants like the good Christian he’s supposed to be.

And his parents are no strangers to trying their damndest to cover it all up for him.

When the news of his prior molestations broke, it was also revealed that his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, had done everything within their power to sweep the incident under the rug. Once they went public, the 19 Kids and Counting monarchs were quick to make light of the situation, behaving as though it wasn’t near as big a deal as the media was making it out to be.

Now that their son has officially been convicted on heinous charges of child pornography, the Duggar duo is still no closer to taking responsibility or accepting their son for the monster he truly is.

Last night, Jim Bob and Michelle released a joint statement on their official family website that reads as follow:

Not once do they openly admit to what their son has done, nor do they own up to their role in it, by refusing to hold him accountable when he was literally molesting his own sisters.

To say the very least, no one was impressed with their statement following the verdict (the following are screenshots from the official post including the Duggar’s statement on the Duggar Family Official Facebook page. You can see the post below.):

To make matters all the worse during this “grievous ordeal,” Josh’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, recently announced that he is running for Arkansas Senate in the state’s upcoming special election — of course, of the Conservative ticket, full of those “Pro-Life” and “bootstrap” values.

Let me know how that works out for ya, Jim.
