Afghanistan war veteran, former CIA agent, and advocate for Afghan interpreters, Matt Zeller, is absolutely ripping into former Trump advisor Stephen Miller as Afghanistan rapidly falls into a state of destruction, disrepair, and death under the Taliban’s new reign of power in the Middle Eastern country.

According to new report from Business Insider, Zeller ripped the ex-Trump official to shreds after Miller opposed the “resettlement of endangered Afghans.” Zeller asserted that Miller is “equally complicit” in the fates of those individuals as the Taliban is and “should be held accountable for war crimes.”

Miller’s stance in this situation, of course, hails from his staunchly anti-immigrant attitude that made him so popular with his former boss, leading the former Trump administration official to say on a Tuesday night Fox News appearance that “those advocating for mass Afghan resettlement are doing so for political and not humanitarian reasons,” adding that resettling Afghan refugees would be far too expensive.

“The United States of America never, ever, made a promise, written or unwritten, to the people of Afghanistan that if after 20 years, they were unable to secure their own country, that we would take them to ours. That is nonsense. That has never been US government policy,” Miller told Fox host Laura Ingraham.

Zeller, who co-founded the advocacy group for Iraqi and Afghan citizens who fought with the US military and helps them to acquire SIVs, No One Left Behind, tore Stephen Miller apart during an appearance on CNN this afternoon.

“That man has been my personal nemesis for almost eight years. I’ve been fighting him since he was Jeff Sessions’ Senate staffer,” Zeller fumed of Miller.

“As far as I’m concerned, he personally is as complicit as the Taliban in these people’s deaths. He should be held accountable for war crimes. He spent the entirety of the Trump administration trying to prevent these people from coming here,” he went on to add.

“They are our people. There is no us and them, there’s just an us. Stephen Miller never wore a uniform a day in his life. He’s a privileged little brat. He ought to be held for war crimes. I can’t stand that man, and I can’t believe you’re giving him any more air time,” Zeller stated, going on to describe Miller as the “worst of America.”

He went on to reveal that he and other veterans are working diligently on a “massive airlift planning operation” to get Afghan interpreters to safety out of the Middle Eastern country and eventually onto US soil in an operation he described as “digital Dunkirk.”
